OFFICIAL CODES: You must have a Universal Product Code (“Code”) from a participating product to play the Game. Codes are available on the outside of packages of SNICKERS® Brand Singles or King Size Bars or at www.yourfaveteam.com. Game begins at Noon (ET) on 11/19/08 and ends at 11:59:59 AM (ET) on 12/17/08. Codes void if not obtained through authorized channels.
TO PLAY: Complete Official Registration Form available at www.yourfaveteam.com, enter Code and follow the on-screen instructions. Each play will be deemed to have been submitted by the record holder of the email address from which the play originated. LIMIT: One (1) play per person/email address per day. Game ends at 11:59:59 AM (ET) on 12/17/08. If you are the first person to enter a Code on or after the predetermined time and date for the most recent prize message made available, you will receive a message that says “You win!” and you will win the prize indicated, subject to verification of eligibility. Winning dates and times will be randomly predetermined under the supervision of D.L. Blair, Inc.
PRIZES AND ODDS: 75 Grand PrizesA $300.00 NFLShop.com Gift Certificate. Gift Certificate must be redeemed in accordance with the terms and conditions of its issuer and is non-transferable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. 200 First Prizes: A Wilson NFL Official Football; Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $90 each. 500 Second Prizes: An official hat of winner’s choice of NFL team; ARV: $28 each. Total ARV of all prizes: $54,500. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entrants entering Codes and the date and time of each entry. LIMIT: One Grand Prize per family or household. Prize winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prizes with ones of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Sponsor responsible only for delivery of prize; not responsible for prize utility, quality or otherwise. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of prize winners.
INSTANT WIN PRIZE AWARDS: Allow 6 - 8 weeks for delivery of prizes. Unawarded prizes will be awarded in the Second Chance Drawing described below (assuming sufficient number of eligible entries). No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the unlikely event that winning messages for any prize level are distributed in numbers greater than the number stated in these Official Rules for such prize level, the stated number of winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims received for that prize level.
SECOND CHANCE DRAWING: Any prize not awarded by 1/7/09 will be awarded in a Second Chance Drawing (the “Drawing”), assuming a sufficient number of entries. Each time you play the Game, you will be automatically entered in the Drawing. Winners will be determined from all eligible entries received in a random drawing to be conducted on or about 1/8/09 by D. L. Blair, Inc. Odds of winning depend on the number of unawarded prizes available and the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by mail or delivery service.
ELIGIBILITY: Game/Drawing open to individual legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, age 18 years or older as of 11/19/08, except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of the NFL entities (as defined below) of Sponsor and its affiliates, agents, judges and advertising and promotion agencies.
VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES: Prize claims subject to verification. Drawing to be conducted by D. L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Game/Drawing. Prize winners may, be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and, where permitted, a publicity release. Any prize may be awarded to alternate winner if affidavit is not returned within 14 days after mailing to winner or if prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable. If any prize is won by a minor, it may be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winners agree to use of name, address, likeness and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law, any such use with respect to minors to be subject to prior approval of parent or legal guardian. Prize claims and entries are sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
GENERAL: This Game/Drawing is void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Game/Drawing is governed by the internal laws of the State of Delaware. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Game/Drawing must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States. Sponsor and judges not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage-due or misdirected entries, mail or communications, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices or transmission lines; or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Sponsor and judges not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant's email account to receive email messages. The use of automated software or computer programs to register for or to play the Game is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register or play will be disqualified. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Game/Drawing and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Game/Drawing should any virus, bug, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Game/Drawing. In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted and a random drawing to award any unawarded prizes will be held from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received for the Second Chance Drawing prior to such time. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant (and all of his/her entries) from this Game/Drawing or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if he/she tampers with the entry process or if his/her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Game/Drawing. Sponsors reserve the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials. By participating in this Game/Drawing, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these full Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that he/she is eligible to participate in this Game/Drawing. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release the NFL Entities (as defined below). Sponsor and its directors, employees, officers and agents, including without limitation its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activity.
CAUTION. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS GAME/DRAWING IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
